HOW TO DONATE
DONATE - FOR THE KIDS
Unfortunately our projects cannot run on hopes and dreams alone and there are actually a lot of costs that go into the awesomeness of taking baseball to places on other continents that it has never been before.
LA LIGA PEQUENA SCHOOL OF BASEBALL
La Liga has been blessed to be able to help the town of Amalfi, Colombia start their 1st ever baseball team in all of history!!! Kids that had never seen a baseball or traveled outside of the town before are now making friends in new cities and playing in tournaments. All thanks to our donors and sponsors... Thank you all!!!
HELPING KEEP GAS IN THE TANK
La Liga Pequena’s potential is virtually limitless with no shortage of at-risk neighborhoods across South America and beyond… Our mission to bring baseball to the kids that need it most, and let the rest work itself out. We must humbly ask for your support in keeping our dream alive. Your generosity will go towards covering:
- Part-time Local Coaches: As solid as Coach Mike is down in Colombia, we have discovered practices with 40+ kids go smoother with some extra hands on deck. We are lucky to have Colombian and Venezuelan coaches assisting in running practices in Medellin and operating our La Liga Pequena Baseball School in Amalfi, Colombia
- Waters and Fruits for Players: Our team always enjoys a round of bananas after a practice and the kids are always very hungry and EXTREMELY grateful.
- Transportation Costs: Taxis to and from sectors where we practice and buses/shuttles are costs of doing business when it comes to getting our part-time coaches to practice and our players to tournaments.
GOING ALL IN AND DREAMING BIG
- LA LIGA PEQUENA OFFICAL TEAM IN MEDELLIN: It's time to give our players a team of their own, so we have entered them into the Antioquia little league in Medellin, Colombia.
- Transportation: One of the big challenges for players is coming up with the bus fare 1) to and from practices and 2) to and from games/tournaments. La Liga Pequena would like to cover these costs for our players so they can just focus on playing ball.
- Extra Practices: Our weekly practices now sometimes have 40+ players, with ages from 6-18 boys and girls with 2 soccer teams and 3 dogs running around, so we feel it would be best to get the team some practice time of their own to get ready for the game!
